For many years it has been a Pagan Tradition to visit the wishing tree
and drive a coin into it to make a wish or to tie a rag to its branches.
Pagans wishing tree is doubly special as it is a double cherry blossom tree which is growing next to a beautiful and magical brook.
Each wish that you make with the wishing tree will have double wishes and double the power.
1. Each time that you make a wish a coin will be hammered into the trunk whilst your wish is spoken to the goddess.
2. Secondly a rag with your name and wish on it will be cleansed in the nearside brook and then tied to
one of her branches whilst your wish is spoken to the goddess again.
The Goddess sees the coins and rags as offerings and it has been known
for the wishes to come into fruitation throughout the wonderful seasons.
This age old Pagan tradition and some of these trees can still be found near churches and brooks around England.
I have seen wonderful success with these double wishes and invite you to make a wish or two of your own.
Many of the past wishes have been love, fertility, health and wealth
as the blossom grows, so does the wish.
